Just a few hours South of Seatle, Portland is a lovely Pacific Northwest city. For the Kosher consumer, you'll find the Jewish community hasn't quite reached the critical mass capable of supporting many eateries. Hopefully that will change over time. That being said there are a couple options while you're in town:
- Cafe at the J: Your typical JCC mini-cafe. They have a small selection of pizzas, soups, sandwiches and assorted snacks.
- Albertsons: This is the main place to find kosher food in the area. They have a large selection of prepared and frozen foods plus assorted cheeses, deli meats and that type of fare.
